In this video, we demonstrate how you can make simple holidays gifts using simple natural ingredients. We also compare beeswax and illipe nut butter to determine which one is best for providing stiffness to the lotion bar. If you are vegan, you will love using Illipe nut butter as a substitute for Beeswax in your DIY skin and hair care products. This lotion bar recipe makes a good quantity of lotion bars that can be given as gifts to friends and family this holidays.
How to use
Lotion bars are so easy to use. They don’t require plastic packaging. Lotion bars should be applied immediately after a warm shower for best moisturizing effects. It is best to cut the bars into small sizes to be used one or 2 times. This will avoid any bacteria accumulation on the bars since they are used in the bathroom on wet skin.
