Suggested usage rates: 1 to 5%, up to 10%, depending on desired texture and viscosity.
2 – 5% in emulsions
1 – 5% in make-up products as an emollient structuring and oil-gel agent
1 – 5% in hair care products as a conditioning agent
1 – 4% in water-in-oil emulsions as a stabilizing agent
1 – 3% in oil-in-water emulsions as an emollient hydrating, moisturizing, stabilizing agent
1 – 3% in sunscreens for viscosity stabilization
Please note that it works differently from regular emulsifying wax. It is best for serums because it will not harden the end product but only thicken.

I purchased this to emulsify whipped cupuacu butter I had been using on my hair. This looks more like coconut oil (solid) than e-wax, so melting this takes a little longer (few seconds to a minute) but works just as efficiently. As I said in my e-wax review, it arrived in a couple of days (Oslove’s turn-around time is phenomenal), and helped produce the exact results I was looking for. I’m very pleased with my purchase, and when the time comes I will definitely be ordering from Oslove Organics again.

Unfortunately this product did not work. Did not emulsify my body cream formula. Oil and water separated immediately.
