Skin care

Achieve blissful skin by doing 3 things.

When it comes to skin care, it is my personal opinion that less is more. Overdoing it with several products is not the key, instead, using few pure and natural ingredients that target specific skin concerns will give the smooth, radiant and young looking skin that everyone wants.
The first thing that you need to do is to moisturize often. We get frequent compliments from customers about how our butters help with their dry skin problems. Even customers with psoriasis find relief using our natural butters as their choice of moisturizers. This shows how important moisturizing is for the skin. Even when you find yourself in a tropical climate, it is still important to moisturize the skin due to evaporation that occurs in the heat. Moisturizing especially with natural butters is a very nice way to pamper the skin. After bath or shower, you should immediately apply your butter to the skin to achieve soft and smooth skin. We recommend our Organic unrefined whipped Shea butter, a luxuriously decadent butter that is rich and creamy, loaded with pure and natural oils. An excellent moisturizer for all skin types. You will thank us for this option.

The second thing you need to do is frequent exfoliation. This step is absolutely necessary to remove impurities, shed skin and dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. Gentle exfoliation ensures that the skin removes fresh air and breathes properly. Regardless of what exfoliation does, it is important to avoid products that clog the skin so as to avoid breakouts and oily skin. We recommend our Neem and Tumeric scrub, a combination of Neem and Tumeric and other great ingredients known for pulling out dirt and dead skin cells out of the skin, leaving it healthy, fresh and smooth. It prevents ingrown hairs and other skin irritations. This scrub can be used all over the body for great results.

The third thing to do is to tone. After cleansing or exfoliating, the pores are open and are therefore susceptible to trapping dirt and dust if not closed. This is where toning comes in. It is an important step that closes up the pores. We recommend our face mist which can be splashed onto the face after cleansing and exfoliating. Some people simply avoid this step because most toners out there include harsh variations of alcohol that sting the face when applied. Also most toners have to be applied with a cotton ball. This may seem tedious to the average mom. Our toner includes soothing organic peppermint that cools the skin when applied. It can also be splashed on the face in seconds before you dash out. Let us know how our recommended products work out for you.
